For eighteen years, I've been weighed down by an emptiness that consumes me.
One that cannot be filled with jewels or fancy dresses, nor with the warm touch of another.
I’ve grown, but I don’t feel like I’ve lived a single day.

I’m constantly surrounded by people, and yet I feel completely alone.
With each day that passes, my yearning to escape the confines of my gilded prison grows, but I’m too afraid to brave the outside world.

Until I learn of my brothers.
My twelve brothers.
My flesh and blood, who were sentenced to death on the day I was born.

The emptiness I’ve felt is nothing compared to the hardship they’ve endured because of their forced absence.
I need to know them; to care for them; to love them.
When I find them, I want nothing more than to begin our new life together.

I didn’t anticipate their hatred toward me. I was naïve to think they wouldn’t resent me.
I certainly never expected their punishing touch to permeate my body and soul…

…and leave me begging for more.

The Lords of Sutherland is THAT story that sneaks up on you, grabs you by the heart...

Let me just start by saying: The Lords of Sutherland is THAT story that sneaks up on you, grabs you by the heart, and keeps you wide-eyed from page one. It’s a dark, taboo, reverse-harem reimagining of a fairytale set in a medieval, almost dreamlike world, where a princess—Jocelyn—has spent her life cloistered in the gilded prison of royal isolation.

When Jocelyn finally discovers she has twelve brothers—and none of them are exactly thrilled to meet her—you know drama is about to explode. And explode it does. The emotional stakes are fierce, the tension is addictively dark, and the brothers? Each one is unique, raw, and full of personality.

And let’s be real—that taboo, steamy spark sizzles from page one.

But underneath the heat, there’s heart—so much heart... it's not just a dark romance with no plot. You feel for Jocelyn the entire way through it.

Seriously, if you're craving something that's bold, a little wicked, but deeply emotional with strong, unapologetic characters—even a princess who refuses to be pitied—this is your jam ( can you tell its mine?). It’s simply an unforgettable read.

In short: The Lords of Sutherland is a dark romance gem. Taboo? ✅️ Reverse harem intrigue? ✅️ Emotional depth, spicy intensity, and characters you can’t forget? ✅️✅️✅️ 5/5 recommend.
